For years I worked in a nursing home. Among the residents there was a gentleman who earned my respect several times. He was a WW2 vet; a member of the 101st Airborne Division, the Screaming Eagles. Every Veterans day I made sure to thank him. I finally thanked him with this painting. He was quite taken aback, and said he guessed that I really had seen a bald eagle in Rome, my own daughter questioned it at the time. He since passed on, and the painting returned to me.
It measures 28″ x 24″, and the price of it is $225.
